We introduced Marlboro The Ride, an endless interactive experience and digital brand platform that put consumers at the heart of the action. Through an interactive CD-ROM or web-based platform, participants were invited to craft their custom chopper designs, competing for the chance to take those visions to the U.S. There, they would build their dream bike and ride it across “Marlboro country” alongside friends. This innovation campaign captured the spirit of “Masculine Freedom” in a culturally resonant way, forging powerful bonds with Asian audiences.
